| Blair glad fans get to see 'Exorcist' mysteries Posted: 05 Oct 2010 06:28 PM PDT Actress Linda Blair is thrilled with the new Blu-Ray DVD release of The Exorcist because she hopes it will explain all the mysteries behind the classic horror movie. The remastered new release comes with an impressive behind-the-scenes film that chronicles how certain aspects of the shocking film were achieved by director William Friedkin and his crew. And Blair hopes fans will see the footage and stop asking her questions she has always struggled to answer. She says, "I remember them filming everything and I would try to explain to audiences that I really can't turn my head around... there was all this brilliant make-up, there was a dummy... People finally get to appreciate the artistry, the special effects and the make-up." Blair was 13 when the film came out in 1973.
