The band are first to publicise revolution in concert footage releases.

How many times have you sat down with your favourite singer's latest DVD release and at some point thought, "I wish I could just turn the camera to the left." With new MATIvision technology you could be able to do just that, and first in line to take advantage of the revolutionary recording techniques are alternative rockers Muse.

Shot during the band's Wembley shows last September, the footage was recorded on 7 different spherical cameras in the stadium, most of which were positioned around the stage and all captured the entire concert from the various angles.

By simply plugging a laptop into your widescreen, HD television, you put yourself right on stage with the band and what is more you control the cameras. Yes, that's right. Each angle is fully movable by a drag and drop functionality similar to that used on Google Maps, meaning that you can turn the camera to where you want it to be. Want to stand next to the drums? You can. Front of stage directly under the lead mike? Of course. Out in the front row of the crowd surrounded by screaming fans? Do I have to answer that?

What is more, with so many angles and positions to choose from, it means there is approximately an hour of footage for each track. That's a whole lot of time to spend with your favourite band.

Footage of the Muse concert was originally sent out by the band as a Christmas gift to fans, but is now available to all through their website at www.muse.mu

Hop over and see what it's like to be in control.
